Working in the design environment for the past 2 years I have discovered a real love and passion for print and weave. I think these two processes have complimented each other in my work. Weave has given me freedom to experiment with different yarns and materials such a leathers and plastic. My prints have been inspired by Jupiter 10 wallpapers as I love the 3D geometric feel against the curved smooth patterns, which makes it almost look like an illusion. Using a variety of colours and fabric textures allowed me to create 3 different interior collections that work well together. My collections consist of various tones of blue and orange with white and silver hi-lights. I will be progressing onto Glasgow Caledonian University to study International Fashion Branding. I feel this course is more suited to me and what I want to do in the future as I’d like to work in the social media and marketing side of fashion.
