I love to push the boundaries of design and have always loved using my creativity and imagination to experiment with different materials an processes and have loved learning how to combine all specialisms to create something unique and inspire others. I know that my strengths are being able to have a great work ethic as I love to be able to strive to work to a high standard in any given task. I also have great patience and will persevere until I get the task at hand done.
I love taking inspiration from mathematical patterns, architecture and anything and everything structural which is why I have chosen to specialise in weave as I want to continue to explore using alternative materials and adding in 3D elements to make my work stand out.
I will be progressing into 3rd year to continue my studies at Heriot Watt and have also loved working as an intern for Iona Crawford. In the near future I hope to gain experience before starting to design and start up my own brand.
