I thrive on taking ‘classic’ designs and giving them a modern twist. I love mixing fabrics, bold colours and my new ‘past time’ taking garments that were heading for landfill and repurposing them into exciting new pieces. This process creates some of the most unique pieces. I love the stories behind the garments– what was it made from? How did it come to be this new garment? The conversations fuel my love for repurposing clothing, and this is where the inspiration came from for this collection.
I’ve been on a journey like no other. It’s been exciting and the rewards have been beyond gratifying. I will pursue my future business aiming to create a range of garments that don’t conform to expected colour schemes and fabric pattern choices. Instead make garments that are bold, exciting and unlike anything currently being offered.
