Eve Connor

After 2 years of studying, my fashion knowledge has grown immensely. From having no prior experience to now be making 3D garments come to life from a 2D drawing is something I am very proud of.

In today’s society, the demand for fast fashion is increasing rapidly, therefore the project of redesigning and producing a garment from worn and damaged clothing, had a huge impact on myself - an ‘up to date’ fashion lover.
Taking old garments and giving them life, was such a satisfying experience and intensified the importance of sustainability within the fashion world.

Liaising with peers and gathering ideas from future designers, has made my fashion journey so far an extremely positive one. I enjoy both an element of solo and team work and working together to solve problems and better one another’s knowledge and skills throughout.

To build upon my knowledge so far, I have gained a place at university to study teaching. I feel confident that I can use basic fashion knowledge and my love of helping others to pursue my dream career!
