My strengths include taking a basic concept or idea and using my skills as a designer to develop it into a unique and interesting garment. Another skill I have is working as a part of a team and taking on board everyone’s ideas and opinions as I believe that every person’s position/opinion is just as important as another which can give the project a unique edge. My collection is inspired by fabrics that have been touched by liquid and the interesting draping effects it can have. Liquid can transform a simple garment into something that looks completely different and individual, hopefully expressing my individuality as a designer through my work.
I have applied for university courses including Glasgow Caledonian, Robert Gordon and Herriot Watt and have received a conditional for most.
