Verbal and non-verbal communication allows us to maintain relationships and survive in the world.
With the ever-changing fashion industry generating opportunities to pursue creativity, passion and imagination; the ways in which an artist can communicate their vision has never been so broad. My interest in fashion has allowed me to discover beauty in unusual places, and appreciate the ways in which a designer is able to share ideas through their collection, and the importance of a reference. Learning the skills with this course through sewing and drafting a pattern has knuckled down the key elements of garment construction which I enjoy exploring. Through the pursuit of further study, it is my goal to gain a deeper understanding of such communication and contribute to the furtherment of fashion communication through my own creative pursuits.
