James Bain  My collection is heavily focused on futurism and realism. Inspiration was taken from sources such as the ‘Back to the Future’ movie series and retro-futurism architecture. The use of shapes and colours were very important to make sure that the collection was unique to me and that the references can be seen throughout my body of work. My colour palette is very bright and bold, this can be seen universally, throughout all of my work. I focused on an extremely unconventional colour, slime green. Digital work is very prominent all through my work as this is something that I really enjoyed doing and know how to do to a high standard. My favourite project was creating my showpiece jacket as it gave me the opportunity to use all the skills that I have gathered over the past few years to create the garment from scratch.
