My collection is based around the themes of Artificial Intelligence, looking at design for the digital age. The designs are aimed to be gender neutral, posthuman and not designed for any specific body type. I am inspired by fluid, computer generated shapes, as well as the shapes seen in electrical objects like motherboards. Combining skills in art from previous education, as well as new found skills in design, my project took form across various samples and sketchbook work. I focus a lot on sustainability, and aim to use found/scrap fabrics. I have found my designs to incorporate surface decoration and enhanced silhouettes.
I plan to one day hopefully be an independent designer or work in a small, slow fashion company. I am currently progressing onto university to enhance my skills in a degree.
