I like to tell stories. Through my research, design process and eventually my finished outcomes, I feel these stories come to life.This collection tells a personal story of mine and conveys my relationship to myself, others and the nature that surrounds us. I found that doing research is a vital part of my process as a designer. Once the scene is set my designs can flow freely through my sketches, illustrations and final garments. Conveying my viewpoint as a designer is something that matters to me, and as I move forward into my career, in film and theatre, it will be vital to adopt other people's viewpoints in my character design. I am excited to tell more stories, expand my technical skills and grow as a designer as I move onto my next chapter at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
